1995 was the biggest miscarriage of Oscars justice in history when it comes to the best picture award. Forrest Gump won best picture in a line up that included Four Weddings and a Funeral, Quiz Show, The Shawshank Redemption and Pulp Fiction. I'd argue that it was probably the second weakest movie in that list behind Four Weddings (no insult to that movie). Good movie though.
