Despite not having any stats to back this up, I think Aiden has been playing his best football in knights colours this season.
I have been hard on him in the past but he has really been consistent this year.

The main motivation for this thread however is borne of his class when being interviewed. It's something I've noticed before, but his brief interview that was uploaded 6 hours ago on the knights website shows you the kind of bloke he is. Articulate and thoughtful in each of his responses, from his trepidation about the team getting carried away with their performance against the tigers to his response to Adam Doueihi's emotional display last week.

Just a good bloke to have at the club, glad he's a knight.

invaluable member of the club IMO.

As you say he's articulate and a great example to young players of how to conduct yourself. If he was a few years younger and on the park for a full game he would be my choice as Captain.

Hope we keep him for another year. The guy is everything they speak of when they talk about the percentage plays. He'd still be in my 17 every week no doubt.

One of my favorite current Knights players.

I think 90% of the criticism he cops is because he looks tired, but it’s just the way he is- even after the first tackle he makes in a game he’s hunched over.

He looks buggered running on the field at kick off.

He might not be the player he was when he played origin and for Australia but imo he still runs better lines than other of our backrowers.
Guerra is a prime example of the Brian Smith diamond in the rough, didn't make 1st grade till 22 when Smith gave him a shot at the roosters

More than anything about his footballing ability, he is a leader of men by word and deed - he makes his fellow players not want to let him down.

Brown acknowledged and I wholeheartedly concur that he was the best and most important signing for this club in the rebuild years. Whilst it has nothing to do with captaincy and it might be a big call but I actually hold him in the same esteem and respect that I hold the Chief in, as an inspirational leader at this club.

And the good thing is that, by example again, he is probably playing some of the best football I have ever seem him play for this club - said it before but he is the first bloke you want beside you in the trenches

If Guerra could give us one more year with Friz, him and Barnett back 3 and Fitz and Sione battling for bench with Jake, pushing Dan and Klemmer with Mann at 14 and Saulo, King, new guy or young up and coming we are ok
