Hayes may well win this, but it may not be with a horse most people may think.... :D

Why not though? She's been as green as green can get as far as 2 year olds go and has won a G2 and G3 in it's past 2 starts. Also trialled nicely in Sydney since coming up...

I'm waiting to have a good look at the form, but at this stage, she's a good chance for mine...

This is very hard to pick as the group begind Miss FInland in the Slipper all looked like a little extra ground would suit.

But did Miss Finland have any gears left in her win?

Again thinking boxed quinella from 1,2,4,10,11

Sticking with De Lago Mist. Been on past 2 starts and see no reason to get off. She's be green in both last starts and had she been more 'pro like' would have won both starts by more. Had a barrier trial in Sydney in preparation and hopefully she's matured that little bit more. Drawn well and Nikolic who rode her in that trial will ride. She was very strong over the last 300m when challenged over 1400m last start and will run this right out.

Miss Finland had the Slipper field covered quite easily. Don't see anything from that turning the tables on her. Only concern would be if this is an after thought and she was set for the Slipper. Churchill Downs was a nice run on Saturday and he'll be in this one at the end. I think that's the trifecta...

Down the Wicket looks to be an improving type whilst Casino Prince cost himself any chance by missing the kick in the Slipper. Still was entitled to get closer to them though. Mentality will run well also.

At the odds, going De Lago Mist. Already well ahead on her and happy to stick. Only thing I have a concern over is the Sydney way of going. She handles that, she's a good chance to win it.

i was going to go with CASINO PRINCE but i've been told that he's probably ready for a break now

so i've switched to MENTALITY

With Miss Finland out I think Churchill Downs will win - will appreciate the extra 200m and hopefully may be ridden back in the field

Universal Queen toughest to beat from the other Hayes runner and Mentaility

Damn, I should have taken the 11's about De Lago Mist on Thursday. When they put the new one up tomorrow, they'll be gone.

Race 5 INGLIS SIRES' PRODUCE STAKES (1400m) at 2.25pm

Joice’s thoughts – Like these three as the trifecta and could even standout Miss Finland after she toyed with a similar line-up in winning the Slipper last week. The 1400m will suit her as much if not more than most of last week’s rivals and at the set weights is the one to beat. De Lago Mist and Mentality are coming through different form-lines and have the advantage of being proven over the 1400m. Work these three to best suit yourself.

Payne’s thoughts –I’m probably mad but I’m going to tip Casino Prince to beat Miss Finland here. Forget Casino Prince went round in the Slipper and the $13 looks very juicy. He’s much better than what we saw last Saturday and I’m expecting him to bounce back here. Miss Finland the obvious danger. She was awesome last week and it’s hard to see anything that didn’t have an excuse last week turning the tables here while this is where Universal Queen will show us how good she is here with a better run than last week.

Joice’s Tips – Miss Finland (12), De Lago Mist (13), Mentality (6)
Payne’s Tips – Casino Prince (3), Miss Finland (12), Universal Queen (14)
