Seriously, with the alarming lack of halves, I don't think anyone would complain (besides Sheens) if Head was selected for SOO.

Not going to happen though.

i think Sheens is just trying to deflect all the pressure and expectation off Matt Head. He's not the type of coach to praise players, but rather to get them to keep on improving their game. I think this will help Head to focus more on improving his game, and less on his injury riddled past.
He knows how important Head is to the team. You can see it in his eyes.

He has not once been critical of that spastic he signed from parramatta. NOT ONCE. Head has been our best player 2 games in a row and shines has given him a serve after both games. That my friend, is the hallmark of an utter prick protecting his golden turd

I agree with you MOTH. But i think the reason he's been critical of Head is to dampen the hype around him being the saviour of the team

Anyway will be interesting to see what happens when Farah, Marshall, Head and Morris are all available.

Obviously i dont know for sure why he's doing it. I dont think anyone knows what goes on in Sheens' head! But the only plausible explanation is to relieve Matt Head of any external pressures and expectations (ie, supporters) so he can regain his confidence. He does the same thing with Benji.

Even my 6 yr old nephew can even appreciate the importance of having Head in the team. Im hoping Sheens can too
