My math skills are just fine. Just like I know that Crapamatta have more than 3 times as many wooden Spoons as they have Premierships. Now THAT is something to really laugh about.
Yea but your statement makes no sense considering most premiership winning parramatta players would still be alive and the majority of them would have more than Johnston as they won 3 in a row. So if you are going to talk shit atleast come up with something factual.

Not taking anything away from Johnston and considering the prolific try scorers we have had in the nrl it’s an amazing achievement and will be held onto for a very long time. He is an outstanding finisher and a lot of wingers could learn a lot from him on how to finish a try.

I really don't know how many Crapamatta players from those Grand final wins are still alive. It was so long ago I just assumed most had shuffled off. Besides I couldn't care less about current Crapamatta players, why would I give a damn about ancient ones? At least you can acknowledge what AJ has done unlike the drooling mouthbreather Eels fan I was replying to. Perhaps if he hadn't spouted his cretinous opinion we wouldn't be where we are now.

Weird to read that he's 'undeserving' of the record. I mean, if/when he does break the record, he did actually score all of those tries.
In an injury riddled, poorer season for Souths, I’m loving going to h&a games just hoping to see him score. 202 tries is a phenomenal effort. If he does break the record, it’s nothing short of amazing and a massive achievement.

You can say that he is undeserving to be in the conversation when talking about who the great wingers of our time are. But his try scoring record is just an observable fact.

From what I see on social media it's only salty Roosters fans who are saying he is undeserving.

I know a few Rooster fans who are giving him the respect he deserves. Unfortunately the ones who are bitter and putting him down come from a variety of supporter bases. It just makes his achievement that much sweeter knowing it's getting under the skin of low IQ haters.

Not only is going to own the record but he's also got a Premiership ring. How many living Crapamatta players can say they have one too?
The Parramatta Eels have won four NSWRL/NRL premierships. These victories occurred in 1981, 1982, 1983, and 1986. Key players in their premiership-winning era, particularly from 1981-1983, included Peter Sterling, Brett Kenny, Mick Cronin, Ray Price, Steve Ella and Eric Grothe.... despite the club being pretty shit since then, I think most of those guys from the 80's are still kicking around... and a few of them can say they have 3.

Rabbitohs remaining H&A schedule:
Storm (AJ hit rate 13 tries in 14 games against Storm)
Dolphins (3 from 2)
Sea Eagles (15 from 17)
Panthers (13 from 19)
Sharks (4 from 11)
Broncos (8 from 19)
Titans (14 frm 12)
Eels (18 from 15)
Dragons (9 from 14)
Roosters (18 from 23)

11 tries to break the record.

AJ's hit rate is 0.87 tries/game so need 13 more games (theoretically). I can't find the stat on how regularly he scores 2+ tries, but my guess is it would be 7-8 times a season.

I reckon he scores 1 each against Storm and Phins, 2 against Manly, 1 against Panthers, 1 try only out of the Sharks and Broncos games, 1 against Titans, 3 against Eels (equalling Ken Irvine), none against a resolute Dragons (in front of a large crowd at Accor) and gets a new page in the book of feuds by bagging 2 tries and the record against the Roosters (at a packed allianz) - leapfrogging the Roosters into the top 8.
