97 was half a premiership and you shouldn't count it. We lost the first 5 games of that season and still made top 3 and the GF qualifier. It's a joke that you brisbanians include it.

If Ricky Stuart didn't take Langer's halfback spot on both 90 & 94 Kangaroo tours and win both ashes series for Australia after Langer had failed, then the trajectory of international rugby league would be completely different. Great Britain would have won both series with Alfie at 7, and they would've grown dramatically as a RL nation. As of press time, GB/England still haven't won a series including Australia since then.

As an Australian, you should be thanking Ricky. International RL would be so much further along if it wasn't for his brilliance.

Agreed - players should wear boots not trainers
Plimsoles should not be allowed on the field, neither should pumps or stilettos

PS If there's an injury, you need a doctor or a medic, not comfortable footwear

TBH if Jacinda can become PM of NZ, I definitely could if I wanted to.

What's not speculative is 97 is half a premiership.

It's funny you mention politics when the only thing that kept Langer in the Kangaroo 7 is interstate politics.

97 is a full premiership due to the fact the Broncos slaughtered everyone in 98
