What a great way to kick off the tour for the 'Kiwis' to kick off their tour of Great Britain.
It wasn't what I'd call a high intensity match which was probably to be expected being a tribute game, but there was a lot of pride and flair which was great to see - especially the 2nd try that Lauitiiti scored, that was an awesome passage of play, vintage Kiwis.
The only disappointing thing about the match was the fairly average crowd - pity the bloody poms got into the WC final.
I think a few players put their hands up for Kiwi selection next week too. Namely, Lueluai, Lauitiiti, Eastwood and even Toopi.
It was a fitting final match for Jones too. He played a good game (although his defense is still a bit suspect).
The Kiwi squad paid tribute to him at the end of the match by performing the haka - Stace had tears in his eyes.
Cheers to you, Little General - one of a kind!
