Whoever made the Parramatta comparisons with Bea Arthur and his squad were spot on. A squad of "ok" players that all hit the wall together, that's what we're seeing. Need a couple of clubs wanting some toilers to take a few off our hands now.

They had a crack today but the issue is the weeks where they phoned it in. 10th is a very deserving spot for us to be sitting.

Cronk nailed it. In the 65th minute the Storm scored and we went tools down. The slightest issue we give up.

I think that was more because they were spent from the defensive effort.
As i said in my post, if we had scored those tries that were on offer, I mean why did Sifa even try and pass to Ron when he had the line open??? then the scoreline effect how they played.

Frenzy.

I can't remember following a Sharks side who has been more affected by scoreboard pressure than this lot. This is a fragile footy team.

Mathematically we can finish last. Digest that punks!

Totally.
All talk on Fox on how Fitz played the game, yet that supposed steel isn't in the team.
It doesn't make me wonder, it makes me know.
Make the changes, not out of necessity but out of being the real deal.

I couldn’t disagree more. There is zero effort and work ethic with the ball. No off-ball movement, no energy, nothing. In defence, they are lucky to take two steps off the line and then sit and wait. They clutch and grab tackles.

They have talent, but absolutely no work ethic.

The only reason the score stayed close was because the Storm weren’t playing well. Conceding 30 points a game for a number of weeks is a prime example of a team not working.

BTW, only Toby bothered to go see the fans in the away bay after the game. The poor onfield attitude extends to the off-field.

I don’t care how “upset” you are with the game (though I question how much you actually care), but not even show the slightest appreciation for fans that travelled interstate.

True the storm were the worst I've seen them for a while.
Munster and Grant did less than farkall. Safety first for origin in a game traditionally tough.
We defended well, but they didn't throw much at us.
Paps is always sniffing around both sides of the ruck. Bar hughes and the right winger who intercepted, unusually very quiet today.
Quite odd.

That right there.
Speaks volumes.

Horse shit.
The only reason the game stayed close was because of the defensive effort put in.
You say you were at the game?
Then how the hell did you not see that?
Because the storm didn’t really throw anything at the Sharks to be honest. Grant wasn’t scheming from dummy half like usual, Munster didn’t really test the line.

Storm players after the game mentioned how they were focused on completions this week after last week. They weren’t throwing the ball around like they can.

I agree about the energy. The storm had a ton of ball attacking our line in the first half and we defended well outside of the Trindall misread.

Second half yeah not so much. I am pissed as f**k with them but I do think they defended well in the first half. Most teams the Storm would have kicked on. The Storm did but not until the end. This isn't an excuse or defence. We should have been smacked today.

They couldn't play that way because of the defensive efforts of the Sharks up until about the 65 minute mark, then the Storm went.

I'm asking this in good faith, do you actually watch and know how the game of rugby league works?

In good faith? Really?

Imagine being so arrogant to label someone who has a different opinion to you as ignorant.

I’ve been a Sharks fan for over 30 years, have played the game at various levels and refereed up to state competition levels. Furthermore, I’ve lived in Melbourne for over 7 years and have seen a lot of Storm games live and know how they play. They did not play well, and they were not because of the Sharks defence.

Last week the Storm completed at 74%. The players acknowledged the fact their focus was on completions - they were playing a very conservative style.

It's not arrogance, it's what went on today.
You can spruik about how long you've been a supporter and how long you've played, doesn't mean you can actually read a game. In fact you are in the majority of fans and how they see things.

If the Sharks had scored those tries on offer Melbourne could not have played the way they did in the last 15 mins.
The Storm would have to had played a very different game.
Unfortunately for us we didn't hold those final passes.
Our defence was good, our attack was not so good.
That simple.
