All-Star Game

All star weekend concluded with the west beating the east 146 to 119. Kobe and Shaq were named Co-MVP's with Kobe scoring a game high 27 with Shaq scoring 17 points in 11 points. Personally, i don't see how CP3 didn't take home the award, putting up 14 points, 14 assists, 7 rebounds and 3 steals.

Highlight had to be Shaq dancing with those jabbawookie guys :lol:. Classic Shaquille Oneal.

Highlight for me was Shaq on howard. I couldn't stop laughing :lol:.

He is a true entertainer. No doubt.

The NBA all star game is so much more entertaining then the pro-bowl it's not funny. The fact that the events stretch for 3 days is great as well. I think the dunk contest is fixed. Even though Rudy made his dunk after a million tries, it's still better then all of Howards ones for 50 and he got only 43.

I think Rudy was penalised because it took him so many attempts to complete that dunk. Damn you Gasol and your gay behind the back lobs. But your right, that was a sweet dunk. Nate in the dunk contest is getting old. It was nice to seem him win the dunk contest the first time, but come on the guy bascially does the same thing over and over again. Can't believe the fans voted him the winner.

PS. Lebron putting his name in for the Dunk contest next year . I'm already salivating.

the slam dunk contest was pretty average at best ... howard attempting something he did last year, which was done 10 times better 20 years ago ... robinson also attempting something that was done 10 times better 20 years ago ... fernandez taking an age to get his dunk out ... JR smith doing regulation dunks

the three point shoot out was pretty average too ... why isn't ray allen in the shoot out? clearly the best 3 point shooter in the game

skills contest was the best and the all star game, i only caught the second half which was good, sounds like the first half was dour ... dual MVP awards to suck off shaq and kobe was a massive anti climax

I said it was nice to see him win it “the first time”, not “for the first time”. I'll admit i should have worded it better. 3 point contest was a let-down, Kapono had nothing. Along with Allen, guys like Nowitzki, Gordon, Nash should be in there as well. Would be nice if it had a bit of star power.

I was wondering why they never televised to HORSE event, then i saw the highlights, and my question was immediately answered.
