I think Felix Beki is a certainty to come in. Him at 7 and Gairo Voro at 6 will probably be the youngest half's combo the Hunters have ever had.

Solo Wane and Brendon Nima's departure is going to opens up two wing spots. Douglas David covered for Nima this year for a few games so he may be back. Other wingers that may get a look in are Chris Benjamin (Gurias) , Carlos Lung (Tigers), Manase Watt (Vipers).
Hooker will be the other hotly contested role now that both Judah Rimbu and Finley Glare have moved on.

For me this move is 3-4 years too late for wane who I seriously thought could have easily stepped up to the next level of RL with super league at the very least.

Douglas David can play both Fullback and Wing.
Bartholomew Evi was injured most of 2025 and only played last couple of rounds for the Dabaris. Maybe he still might get a look in.

And 5minutes ago social media Rugby league pages PNG have started announcing that Gairo Voro is also heading to the London Broncos.
Nothing announced yet by the club so hopefully see something real soon.

Players like kapinias really need to test themselves at the next level and hopefully those signed up by the London broncos will be playing super league in 2027.

Yeah some major recruitment will have to take place.
So there are now 7 confirmed to be leaving the Hunters. Four of them to the London Broncos,Two of them to the Brisbane Tigers and one retired going with other plans.
Positions impacted are 2 x wingers, 2 x Hookers,1xfive-eight, 1xProp and 1 x Centre/2ndrower.

I hope Aiton doesn't take the easy route and pair Joshua Lau and Jamie Mavoko in the halvs. He has got to be brave enough to blood the younger players.

Yeah its surprising that he hasn't got a mention anywhere yet.
The other player I feel sorry for is the Fullback Sanny Wabo. Of all the spine players over the last 2 years he is the one that carried them the most. Maybe his diminutive size works against him.

Honestly he’d be my 1st pick especially over Mathias(not that I don’t rate Mathias) unless demetriou sees Mathias as more versatile?

wabo’s small stature definitely works against him and will put many championship and super league teams off.
