Both Banam and Ulalom are coming through from the Rabaul Gurias team.
Ulalom was actually part of the Hunters squad last year too but never got to debut until now.
Says ulalom was injured last year and also read that he suffered a family bereavement as well which hampered his season.

really looking forward to how banam, ulalom and genea do this year and hopefully end up in super league if not the NRL.

Yes he got injured playing for the Gurias in the Digicel Exon Cup.
Like all those who were in the wider Hunters squad last year, he had to play in this competition for his original club if he wasn't in the match day squad for the Hunters.

I watched the game live on Digicel TV.
The Hunters had one of the worst first halves I've ever seen. There was a period there that they had 5 or 6 uncompleted sets with dropped balls and mistakes.

The 5x PNG players in the Capras had good games. Especially Valentine Richard and Nixon Putt.

Is that a FTA channel mate or do you have to pay, if so how much does it cost.

Its not FTA.
Digicel TV has different plans which you can subscribe to starting from daily plans.
Apart from that there are different plans for 7 days, 14 days and 30 days. Also number of channels subscribed to adds to the cost.

For 7 day plans you can choose 20 channels for K42, 40 channels for K52, 60 channels for K90 and 80 channels K105.
For 14 days you can have 20 channels for K60, 40 channels for K75, 60 channels for K130 and 80 channels for K150
For 30 days you can have 20 channels for K80, 40 channels for K105, 60 channels for K185 and 80 channels for K220

Hunters matches get shown on Digicels TV Wan Sports extra channel. Local Digicel Exon Mobil also get shown on this channel but when there is a clash then one of the other channels get used.

Meanwhile all 8 NRL Matches each week get shown on Digicels TV Wan Action channel. This comes through from the Fox League Studios starting Thursday nights. All the other Rugby league related shows from Fox like the daily NRL 360, Matthew Johns Show Thursday nights and Sunday nights, The Fan, Face to Face and a number of podcasts all get shown on this channel too.

Mavoko and Alu were both poor in that first half.
Nixon played left sided back-row. He was off loading the ball at will in almost every carry.

Another young fellow to make his debut this weekend.
Bruce Bawase will be starting at left center in place of Benji Kot who has been moved to 2ndrow.

Great to see .

i see that the hunters coaching staff are still persisting with mavoko at #7 and Alu at #13

Alu will be hard to drop this year. He is still one of their better players every game.
Mavoko on the other hand is just useless and his game management and control has gotten worse every game.

Just hope Aiton wakes up soon and drops him.
However, their big win today against the wooden spoon favorites might buy him another week or two.

Is there any chance of wabo moving to #7?

I just can’t see a super league club let alone a NRL club taking a chance with someone so short as wabo. He would be lees exposed in the halves than fullback imo.
