His WWE tryout match against the Hurricane on Heat was pretty good too, how he didn't get a WWE contract is beyond me.

He got offered one, but it would have meant relocation away from his partner's college and accepting a pay cut to go into development. If I were negotiating with arguably one of the most gifted workers ever - I wouldn't insult him by telling him he needs to go to OVW with Rene Dupree and Mark Henry.

Oh true, I didn't even know he got offered one. That makes it slightly better knowing that he turned down those losers.

He'd probably still be in OVW if he had of taken the contract, just look at what they're doing to CM Punk.
