I get excited, but only because it is the first footy in ages. I believe that the motivation for the Allstars is to spoil the party for the indigenous side.

I'm guessing most people just support the players of their club. See their progress.

I do care. I work a lot with the mob and we need positive examples of reconciliation. This is an excellent concept. As to who wins on the day, I couldn't care less. As to who gets selected, I couldn't care less.

If its good for the indigenous, then it's a good concept. I hate the way they "honour" our first Australians by introducing the most idiotic rules though.

Don't care who wins but I enjoy the spectacle.

I like that they use it as an experiment for rules, but they need to be more practical with it. Some of the experiments they've tried (declining a goal kick in favour of a try) will never work in League.

It's a good game for the code though, players seem to lap it up which is apart of the fun. Also, some of the young up and comers really relish the opportunity.

I pray like hell one of my players don't get injured. In all honesty, I could give a f**k about the result, it's just a good feeling when it's on because you know the season is just around the corner.

However, I've got a lot of respect for Presto getting it up and running, and it's good for the aboriginals to get a chance to shine.

I have actually never watched the game. I like my sport to have a point. Exhibition games to me is completely uninteresting in any sport.

I watch it because it's footy. I also make ridiculous player selections, just because I think it would be hilarious to see Michael Bani marking up against Dale Copley. Cripple fight!

I used to deliberately vote for Carl Webb and George Rose in the indigenous team too, just to watch the fat f*ckers run...

In fact, next year I think that all of LU should agree on one ridiculous player selection, and everyone here should vote for that player.

That said, I don't think the concept will survive much longer unless a few boom indigenous forwards burst onto the scene. Having to pick Jamal Idris at all nearly made me cry, let alone picking him as a starting second rower.
