The game is a waste of time. I think the indigenous round is a far better concept than the all stars game.

The bloke that said the concept is racist is correct. Not in a million years would we have an “all star” game of Caucasian Australians vs. the rest or Asian Australians vs. The rest etc.

I like it. gets us off to a good start of the year, acknowledges the role indigenous players have had on rugby league as well as hopefully encouraging young indigenous people

I think the fact the players want to play in it is also significant. we as fans get a vote which we rarely get and we get to see players who may never otherwise play together playing on the same team.

I don't really care about who wins.

I think the concept would work better if it was what it purports to be - An All-Star game. Having one player from one team negates that. What on earth is, say, a Josh Dugan doing playing ahead of Billy Slater in an All-Star game?

It's good to get all teams involved. If they didnt you can imagine some clubs with a lot of supporters would just spam the vote and we'd end up with 10 nuffies from the panthers playing...wait i said clubs with a lot of supporters...that rules out the panthers

it's sad all those people who always whinge about their players getting selected in games liek this or rep games. Rugby League is actually bigger than just the NRL

and in terms of it being racist, i'm interested whether anyone gets upset about a maori team, or whether the haka should be performed

What the f**k is the point of fan involvement if signings are going to cause such disruptions. Case in point I voted for both Jennings and JWH, but if they were both Roosters at the time, I'd have told Jennings to suck a dick.

It's preposterous that the best voted Roosters player is going to lose out because of a late signing. You might as well not bother with the voting process. Because lets be honest, the only reason any of us were voting for JEnnings is because the Panthers are an absolute, certified joke, and none of their other players are worth a damn.

I seriously doubt Jennings would have won the vote if he was with the Roosters 6 months ago.
