I presume it's the tweets from Niu stating the following:

"Working with RFL to setup Barla U/18 tour of Hawaii in April. 2 games v Hawaii U/18 and Junior Tomahawks in Maui. Exciting!"

Also that USA v Canada will be a two game series this year.

Maui Rugby have started playing RL as well as RU.

Against who? I was in Honolulu not to long ago and understood there was some practices and camps but nothing serious.

They have only recently started playing they have a number of games scheduled for 2011 with LA etc.. and players from over there are starting to get experience with UK union clubs. It is a place to watch out for in the future
