Would it have the numbers to be effective and/or heard

Is there enough time to organise one ?

The crowd will be appalling so if something was organised it would get heard imo

Something has to be done

I hear what you are saying and were it not the departing match for Gareth Ellis I would agree whole heartedly.

Ellis does not deserve that though plus it won't make a lick of difference it will see the same old "so called fans" lines trotted out and the media will listen intently to his discussion of no excuses but injuries were a reason blah blah blah.

Also Rothfield being supportive harms the cause

Wests Tigers are set to miss the NRL finals and a majority of foxsports.com.au users say the buck stops with Tim Sheens.

They began the season as competition favourites, but Sunday's dismal capitulation against Sydney Roosters has all but reduced the Tigers to spectators for the first weekend of finals.

With their season on the line and everything to play for, the Tigers could only complete 21 of 33 sets in one of their worst performances of the year.

To make the semis, the Tigers must now upset Melbourne Storm at Leichhardt Oval and hope either Penrith knock over Brisbane Broncos or Canberra lose by a big margin to the Warriors.

The likely result will lower Sheens' record to just three finals appearances in 10 seasons at the head of the Tigers.
To put that in perspective, just six weeks ago Canberra coach David Furner was poised to get the sack for his club's sub-par performances.
Since the beginning of his tenure in 2009, Furner has taken the Raiders to a finals appearance in 2010 and is now likely to add to that this season.
So should Sheens take Furner's place on the chopping block?
On Monday, we asked foxsports.com.au users whether the Test coach was under pressure to keep his job at the Tigers. At the time of writing, 61 per cent of you voted "yes: the Tigers continue to underachieve under Sheens".
TigerM of NSW said: "Time for Tim to be gone, we need new thinking. How can such a talented roster end up being so ordinary?
"If you think that the coaching is not the problem, then look at the Dogs. But in saying that, there are some players who should be looking at themselves as well.
"Disgusting effort all year from a team that should have been fighting for the premiership."
Ross of Sydney said Sheens is "long past his use by date yet is unaccountable for results", while Tommy Handgun of Redfern blamed the media for Sheens' lack of accountability.
"Sheens is a media myth. Of course he has to go. The Tigers have just had their "Golden Era" and what have they to show for it? One premiership and a couple of semi finals appearances in 10 years.
"Most other clubs that would be underachieving. But somehow, Sheens has been able to convince the media he is a coaching God. They will never win another premiership while ever he and the "world's greatest player" are there. Both all hype, no substance."
So is it time for Sheens to go?

No I think a concerted and organised campaign over the off season would be the best strategy.

Lets face a simple fact, Sheens will not be moved on at the end of this season. I think we all know that.

However if enough is done over the off season in terms of emails, analysis of the major failing of seasons etc than maybe, just maybe when we kick off the slow fail rollercoaster that is generally our season starts there will be pressure bought applied from outside sources.

Realistically complaints this season can be fobbed off with injury discussion and I even expect Sheens to be low enough to bring up the passing of Robbies mother in his defence.

Next seasons beginning there are no such excuses.

Just my take on it

Yeah I hear ya...

Its frustrating to think that next year will be another wasted season with Sheens still at the helm...

That article posted above is the most negative that I have seen written about him in the media, so perhaps the tide is turning..

You would hope so.

I used to be able to justify things to an extent but the two years with Folkes at the club and a halfback playing halfback compared with the record in the years bookending that time really have made it impossible to deny for all but the staunchest ostriches

Yes, it is Tim Sheens fault he couldn't magic up a half back after Lui belted his gf. Folkes
presumably moved on to enhance his chances of getting a crack at first grade gig sooner
rather than later, so that is not his fault either.

And the injuries are not his fault. Also, the death of Robbies mother was a factor, and as
for him being "low" enough to use it for an excuse, you should clarify where that is coming
from.

What is unforgivable, is bringing back Royce Simmons. He needs to stop employing his
mates.

I'm sick of the injury excuse. Every team has injuries. They just manage them better than we do.

Yesterday we had an almost full strength side on the park, minus Farah, Lote and Tedesco and still served up utter shit.

It could have also been used as motivation in the right hands.. And Robbie who it would have impacted the most has been our best player all year...

It is Tim Sheens fault he didn't stick with one option and at least give them a proper go in the 7 jersey after Lui brain snapped yet again. What exactly did Humble do wrong again?

Injuries are not his fault but what you do when they happen is his fault. Going into the season a prop or two short with Matt Groat as your go to fall back starting option was his fault.

Folkes going was not Sheens fault, never claimed it to be but the diference in his presence at the club compared to not being at the club highlights exactly how little Tim Sheens has to offer the Wests Tigers moving forward. Wither his ideas are stale or the players stopped listening. Either way it is unacceptable.

Being low enough to use it as an excuse is to weight it as a major reason for missing the finals. Disregarding the abysmal losing streak to begin the season and over weight the tragic circumstances of Sonia Farahs passing to divert attention or pressure away to the media would be a low act. Internally he can say what he wants.

The entire NRL coaching staff are his mates already even to the point where Alan Mair was moved along to bring back Brian Hider (no disrespect to Brian) Promoting Skando to conditioning coach when he is not qualified to do so and gifting payten the NYC head coaches role are all examples. Bringing back Royce would be the lowest blow of all though

We blew two should win games though through the timing though. Robbie has been above
and beyond outstanding this year.

Manly have had a horror run with injuries and suspension throughout the year, yet they remain entrenched in the top 8

Sheens has had his days at the WT,its time he moved on,for the benefit to himself, the players and the club.Without his departure a new culture and structure based on winning can not eventuate at the WT.

The main job of a coach is to develop and make the players better at what they do. Yeah he won us a comp in 2005 and I'll be grateful forever but since then Sheens has failed miserably. He was unable to turn J-Mo into a number 7 as promised and failed to admit to his error. Most players (especially this year) have gone backwards considerably. Recruitment has been poor and our results speak for themselves. Time to go Tim.
