If the ref had of waited for Hicks to be on side from the kick-off then things would have been different.
I'm sure Blocker and Boozo would agree.

Actually I started going for the Broncos in 91 when I first started watching league. First game I watched was an origin match, went for the under dog ( qld ), enjoyed the game, thought Langer was great and followed his team, the rest is history.

And hello 99 when we lost 9 or 10 of our first 12 matches.

I was aware of that, but as if Brisbane weren't going to bounce back. You do begin to wonder if your team ever loses 12 from 12. And remember, these are little kids, they take it differently, because they don't even know how to write a letter of complaint to the club or make posts on here like we do, there aren't many other options than to cry.

Kids behaviour is a direct reflection on their parents. They behave how their parents have taught them to. If a kid over reacts to a loss, you really do have to wonder how dad or mum reacts to a loss ect. And if they behave like League and their team is their life, again one has to wonder about mum or dad, who ever it was that brain washed the poor child.

Are you Jake the Muss?

Only watched "What becomes..." last night;-)

Wouldn't surprised me if he was.

Jake: "What would you do if your son joined a gang?"

Pig Hunter 1 "I'd kick his arse.."

Pig Hunter 2 " I'd beat the crap out of him".

hmmm.

that is true. Kids see how their parents react.
If the parents are sane and sensible then so will the children
If the paresnts are over the top, and sensitive, well then so will the children.

It all starts in the home

Better that they exhibit some passion in life than be told to "harden up" at 6 years of age.

No wonder you live in a gang wasteland.

Passion is one thing, obsession is another.

And the harden up comment was sarcasm but it seems to be the only thing you can bring up.

I can't say that i've ever heard Mackay north queensland refered to as a gang wasteland :?

There's more to life than League...

Swap that kid's Manly jersey for a Hitler youth uniform and you have a reason why World Wars get started.

Brainwashing.

Ive been on contact with docs, made a complaint and they agree its unacceptable to allowing this poor kid to live in a house where not only is supporting Manly condoned, it is encouraged.

He will be rehabilitated, feed cement pills, hardened up and released back into society a better man but more importantly, no longer a Manly fan. The system works...

But they've never been the better team all season! We sure reminded the drunken Sharks fans of that upon leaving the ground in 2002 when they posted a (then) record victory over the Knights. I'm glad that record has been eclipsed (by Manly of all clubs, too!:D) On sayiing that, I know what he's talking about. In many ways it sums up how I felt about Newcastle's attitude at the start of this year.

Talk about throwing stones in glass houses!!

Good name btw Knightmare The knight on that female horse (the mare) also a good way to describe your debut wooden spoon season!

Well done, very clever !
