an ugly thought - get out clauses

This is what worries me.

"I expect him to be here," Hayne said. "I really like him as a coach and I wouldn't take it too well if he was sacked.
"I doubt that would happen. It would be very unlikely. If I've got anything to say for it, he will be here next year."

Well, his best mates went to a club with a bit of money to throw around, and if he did have a release clause...

Now that would be hilarious.

Well, you guys have to remember the Roosters sacked Brad Fittler who was deeply liked by his players and staff-a momentous decision but one that has turned the club around.
The Eels are trying to follow in their footsteps......the players may not like it at first, but unfortunately they are not bigger than the club and you will probably find that (provided we get Kearney) they will like the new coach, as he is a good guy and far better at man-management and getting people to train than Daniel Anderson is.....and no this isn't stuff I hear about it's what I genuinely know from people and players who have trained with the guy....

Look, I am not happy with the sacking or the year that has happened, but we have to stay positive and remember that we are supporters of the blue and gold and that we will stick by the club through it's tough times. If you don't like it, then go support someone else for all I care.....I understand you are all disappointed, but seriously? You would leave this great club because of a bad year?? If every fan in RL did that, we would no longer have any Rugby League fans; every club has these years. I am a young kid that has only been supporting the Eels for a few years, and I know that ditching our club in their tough time will only make things worse.

Who would want that sook Mateo back anyway????? It took till nearly the season was over to fire up and that only to show the coach and fans what we would be missing........

You mean it took until the last couple of rounds for Anderson to allow mateo to offload and play how he plays?

Mateo had been hand cuffed for a year and a half from ando..

Finally some common sense on here

but hey i guess it is mateo's fault he followed his coaches orders.

All the stuff in the media about ando saying to feleti that it was no longer his team and all the razzle dazzle belongs to hayne is true.

That's because he kept trying to offload in our own 20. And for every successful offload there was a turnover.

If he wasn't so lazy, and could actually learn when to offload he wouldn't have had that problem.

This.
Considering our 1 man team status atm, i'm surprised the board didn't take Haynes words regarding DA to heart.
If Hayne had a get out clause and used it, well i'd just about rip every piece of my beautiful hair from my head.
