call me crazy but stacking a bench with 20 min islanders and a lock/half is asking for trouble.

Not half obvious though that he'll switch Aubo to 5/8 at some point when rotating the forwards.

Braith was crap. All he did was put up a few decent bombs. Other than that he dropped the ball cold as a spud 5m out from Souths line, conceded a penalty that lead to a goal, and all round just plain sucked. I don't buy the "he tried hard" line. I'd try hard if I was out there too - doesn't mean I wouldn't be crap though.

They obviously felt that Lewis would be capable, which I think too.

I have a feeling that once Lewis recovers from his minor injury he will partner Pearce in the halves as 5/8. Probably wont happen though.

Pearce is making his debut after Lewis has a minor injury, and since Aubbuson at 5/8 didnt turn out well, he needs some experience next to him in the halves.

We may end up seeing Pearce and Lewis in the halves, or Flannery may be the 5/8 when hes back.

Because that'd be so much better than a backrower like Anasta playing there?

Soward is not the answer on anything I've seen. A Jason Taylor clone who's yet to show that he's anything more than a champion Premier Leaguer.

Im just saying that that was what Anderson was looking at as an option for some experience to partner one of the young halfbacks.
