I actually had a chance to meet Anasta for the first time yesterday. He had a great photo taken with one of my kids.....great photo, he is pure class. I didn't actually care to much for him but now, I think he is my new Mick Crocker He even removed a beanie from his head for the photo which I thought was great

Holy crap this post is on the mark. As a Dogs fan I used to always get pissed off with Anasta - he'd put through frustratingly sh*t kicks, wouldn't take the line on, played generally crap footy until... His contract was due for renegotiation! Then Union would be interested, the Rabbitohs would be keen to sign him and: surprise, suprise! Anasta would start playing some good footy. Suddenly there'd be 40-20's, aggressive runs at the line, offloads - you name it, Anasta was the man. Then he'd make a decision and turn to sh*t again.

I personally think he is a pretty selfish player. A lot of talent, I don't think you could deny that, but he seems to only ever play well when contract negotiation time is around the corner...

Perhaps teams should start only offering him 1 year contracts? At least then he'd be sure to play good for at least a few weeks every season.
