Neither do I. I've known this guy for many years and he is one arrogant, abrasive, narcissistic being. If Ando's gotta go he's gotta go, that's simple, even I don't have a problem with that - but whats the point of replacing him with a clone?
Still he's gonna get a heap of support from here and in the community but it'll be for the wrong reasons. The only reason he'll get support is because he is not Ando.
Like I keep telling people, there are reasons he could never get the job before. He couldn't even get it when the team that won the '94 PC and the '96 RG graduated to first grade. It would of seemed obvious at the time to take the coach up with the team but there's no way the club was going to have a loose cannon in charge.
If anyone has the gumption to ask, go to a Wigan forum and enquire as to the behaviour of one S Raper in regards to Wigan prop one R Bibey who left the club after.
Fizman, i think you will find that it is MIKE GREGORY and not ANDY GREGORY, that is coaching the wigan side at the moment the 2 of them played for wigan MG was a hard running 2nd rower and little ANDY was a halfback.................
Yes. And the Warriors have not been defeated since Gregory took over. He's taken them from an unhappy struggling outfit under Raper to Grand Finalists without loss when it looked like they'd wither and die under Rapers tutelage.
