I would definitely go after Hamlin-Uele who i understand is unwanted by the gummies. Big body & has an off load.
We have some young forwards to fit into the team in 2026. We only need one afta prop to lead our young pack,

Yep.
Stewart was being talked up as a possible signing a while back.
Then it all went quiet.
The other outside back we were rumoured to be talking to was Bailey Simonsson.
Again, nothing more has been mentioned about him.
As far as props go, now that Moale is no longer on the market, Hamlin Uele and Royce Hunt are the only two who have been told they are free to leave.
Anyone heard or seen anything else??

FFS Ando, are we looking at any descent players. I here the young front rower from Souths is going to the Eagles. We are all hearing of signings to other except the Dragons.
Big Nelson, Uele or throw good coin at Leota from Penrith either thou he is under contract. They might let him go to earn big coin due to his service to the club. And a couple of quality backs with speed.
I am sick to death of hearing other clubs getting new signings and we get nothing.

As reported in today's Daily Telegraph:
The Dragons are making moves to bolster their backline with interest in signing former Queensland State of Origin winger Phillip Sami, while also pinching a talented Panther.

With the departure of wingers Corey Allen and Mikaele Ravalawa from their roster for next season, St George-Illawarra are on the hunt to replenish their outside backs.

Sami, who has been given permission to negotiate with rival clubs by the Gold Coast, has appeared on the Dragons radar.

The 28-year-old, who played two games for the Maroons during the 2020 State of Origin series, has featured in 142 NRL games and scored 71-tries.

He enjoyed a strong year in an otherwise poor 2025 season for the Gold Coast, chosen in 21-games and scoring 15-tries by playing both centre and wing.

Meanwhile, it can be revealed that the Dragons are in the middle of a 10-day cooling-off period to sign promising Penrith centre or winger, David Fale.

Fale has spent the past three seasons playing NSW Cup for Penrith where he has scored 22-tries in 43-games.

Belief that the powerful outside back can progress to the NRL was indicated by his first grade debut for the Panthers against the Bulldogs in round 26 this season.

Fale will push the likes of Matt Feagai, Christian Tuipolotu and Tyrell Sloan for a position on the Dragons wing in 2026.

Hopefully “Ando” is looking for decent players, not descending players or players in descent as you seem keen for us to get. We have enough of those.
I also love your amazing suggestion that we illegally approach a player under contract at Penrith and see if he’ll leave a team on the verge of maybe 5 comps in a row in order to move to a team that hasn’t played finals in 7 years.
FFS “Ando”, do yourself a favour and pick up the phone and call dragonthomo for some recruitment tips - he’s got all the obvious answers!

Pretty happy with Sami if we can land him. Strong out of the back field, but also very quick, so there's some speed that people have been looking for. Can finish a try with a dive for the corner off backline moves too, which inexplicably is a skill that has been missing in our roster for years.

Corey Allan managed the only somewhat athletic winger's diving try in the corner for us in a long time, in the last round this season.

Also someone that isn't going to be a complete liability under the high ball and make us watch through our hands every time there's a bomb put up out to that side. Now we'll only have to worry about CT under the high ball out to the left.

Get it done Dragons.

If they do not a huge signing.
For me been around for ages and his team has been going terribly.

Happy when we sign forwards.

Fale is a tall dude, I like that for us. Bit of a late bloomer perhaps (he's 24) but the NSW Cup stats are nothing to sneeze at

21 games: 14 tries, 10 try assists, 57 tackle breaks, 21 line breaks
