I think they’ll be Sami and Tuipolotu. Fale would be first drop at wing and possibly at centre. Regarding Ramsey, his health is clearly a major concern. He has been offered a train and trial deal. If he gets a better offer elsewhere, he will probably take it. Despite his obvious talent no other club has offered him anything significant yet. In my mind that confirms the belief within the Dragons that his body just won’t hold out. Poor bastard. Love the bloke.

Ok so Dragons have released a statement that Cody will be leaving the club end of 2025

So RE Fullback -

2026 - is Gutho, Sloan, Fegai and maybe Nick Quinn yet when asked about Ollie Burton who we have extended to end of 2028 Flano said probably not 2026 but the season after a real possible to contend. Ollie Burton will be 18yrs of age in 2027 and he is rated as a pretty special talent

so for it makes sense that beyond a TT or Dev Contract offered to Cody there is not really a spot in the top30 given our depth and commitment to Ollie in 27/28 but also given we need other key positions strengthened

Ollie played in the NSW CHS team at only 16yrs of age and a player who is in the Redcliffe Dolphins Pathway Program but also captained the ChS team in 2025 and made the schoolboys is half Toby Batten (has been a rumour of late)

I think he does deserve a spot Liu as supp player and or minimum TT with a pathway

he did well back end of 2025

probably a later NRL bloomer due to his height and rangy.........maybe 195cm and maybe 105kg so a tough gig for a 20yr old to beat the wrestle and a fast play of the ball

but im open to other options at other clubs if we can snag a middle moree ready like Melbourne did for 2026

Dragons win race for electric Rabbitohs youngster​

The South Sydney Rabbitohs have missed out on retaining one of the club's brightest young stars, Nicholas Quinn, after a logjam in the halves led to a rival squad swooping in.
After it was reported last week that the Brisbane Tigers, St George Illawarra Dragons, and Rabbitohs were all vying for his signature, Quinn has made a major career call.


Zero Tackle understands that the Jersey Flegg skipper and 2025 NSW Cup debutant has decided to take his services to the St George Illawarra Dragons from 2026.
Previously a Dragon before making his way to the Rabbitohs, Quinn has been in hot demand after an electric season in the red and green, with Shane Flanagan convincing the youngster to return home.
