As at 16th March our website still only shows 26 players in the top30 despite having to have 28 players in the top30 end of Feb

no confirmation to fans who our Supp list is despite us guessing who is the 6 players that make that list
Whoever is responsible for updating the website needs to be replaced. This is just not good enough, our fans deserve better.

I believe it's both the NRL and the media folk at the Dragons. All clubs have the same format (bar a few exceptions), same options.

Not many thought the Couchies would prosper like they have. Wow Toby and Ryan are seriously jumping leaps and bounds ! Small middles and making it happen. They are relentless and at the beginning of a many year NRL career !

not many thought Stewart would make it like he has - In fact there was serious long term forum contributions that rumoured he was only picked because of his dad !!!! You won’t get them to admit that despite being able to search back though comments and they said it explicitly!

Egan was harshly described as a so so by many forum contributors when playing ressies and or JF despite his fellow FG top30 players rating him to be a FG player for sure !

not many rated Halangahu in his early years. Thought he was ok two years back but not psyched as a top priority vs others.

many rated LPT as a crucial long term signing.

conversely Latu was talked about as a gun (including myself) I rated him as serious emerging FG player.

why did so many of us get it so wrong ? And then argue the hell out of what might be but rarely does ?

does that mean that this forum is way off the pace picking juniors?

I mean even the rage for LKT to be the next best thing? Or Glover and or Ilias ?

so I suppose where I am going is none of us championed KK to be our king of recruits. Now we do and we are stoked by his first two 2026 games being elite ! Bit of a left field signing I felt when I heard the rumour vs who we thought as might be the target !

so is there a player we have NOT considered highly, but could be contracted and achieve beyond all consideration and or impact if signed !

Talent scouting is implicitly hit and miss. I think Boyd 7 / Atkinson 6 would have been a serious combination.

I agree.

Complementary and competent.

With Reed emerging, this combo would have been as good as we could have achieved for the next couple of seasons.

We do have some great young forwards coming through, and I still have faith in LPT. He just needs a personal coach to help him step up. I'd say that fitness is plying a big role in his current situation.

Awesome news

gives us a lot of wiggle room with Luc and others off contract

Sua is probably the next one that we will want to see handled

either he gets a $1m a year to join Perth or he stays with us for a bit overs want we want to pay

unless Luc is unders and Sua is overs and it nets out

Egan will be our left 2nd rower the second he is fully fit.. we have all (myself included) forgotten how good he was in his 8 games last year.. he was a real game-changer..

What we will do with Luciano I dunno.. but its also possibly Egan doesnt have the level of fitness due to his injury that enabled him to so much clean up work for us previously.. thats a big part of what makes him a special player...

This. I know everyone was talking about Stewart's performance last year (and for good reason), but Egan really stood out for me. I'm looking forward to seeing him on the field again.
