One of my daughters live in Ingham and so last year I decided to visti and take in the game against the Cowboys while I was up there. It would have to be the worst experience at a game that I ever had. They thumped us so bad that we were gone after about 5 min of play. I hope we can turn the tables this week.
Firstly, I hope you're fit and well Possm. Doing your cardiac rehab etc. I'm hoping for a win this weekend but won't blow my blood pressure if we don't. Good to see the blue ink back Xx

Mate lets hope this game turns our season around , A good score will add to the confidence and we finish strong .......

We haven’t won there since ‘05? I don’t see why this season will be any different.

On paper we should win, but we tend to struggle against the cows. Mind you I thought there was no way we would lose last week, so happy to be proven wrong.

Don't worry, I said I was fairly confident we'd win against the Tiges. I'm fairly confident we can get this win too. 50/50 for me and my predictions are better than A Johns :)

2018, Dragons will be victorious over the Bunnies in one of the most epic Grand Finals in living memory.
After the last whistle the Dragon's players, fans and the commentators erupt and cheer and scream for a good 15 minutes then watch on the big screen as a camera follows a shattered Sam Burgess who picks himself up and finds Widdop and swaps jerseys with him, camera pans to Rusty Crowe who sees big Sam's gesture, stands up and starts a round of applause that everyone follows because they all know they've just witnessed one for the ages a classic from two great teams.

I love that kit66 , I really would like just that to occur . But you haven’t given us the answer to the $64,000 question - what happens to our Mary ? ?

This weekend will be the sternest test we've faced since round 12 against the then high-flying Panthers.

We failed both that & the previous test against lol@souffs.

We have to be due for a strong performance against a full strength gun side after the last 2 comprehensive failures.

Punt the pretender? ?

Sack him at the grand final press conference, that would be a classic.

Gentlemen , gentlemen , please the man has just defied the media speculation , the fans predictions and more importantly the armchair critics of this very forum and won us a Premiership.

At the very least we shall allow him to finish out his current contract - that being the end of the 2019 season and from there sign him on a yearly basis . Of course that is besides hanging his newly painted portrait along side that of the great Norm Provan in the foyer of the grand Taj Mahal . :innocent:

If he wins the premiership I’ll personally paint that portrait with my scrotum.

At the moment I think we are 3rd favourites.
I rank the storm as the team to beat, they have the experience, the structure and composure that wins the big matches.

I place Souths second purely because they have the game plan that we struggle with, pace in the backline that we find hard to contain and they play the game fast, and play what’s in front of them...something that we still don’t do.

We are third favourite, forward pack can match it with anyone, however not enough speed or urgency in what we do...always slow... halves yet to stand up in a big match...

They stood up against the rooters and then the storm...we are coming brother you will see.

Gotta love the forum. After the loss to tigers we were going to fall away and not win another game and now after a win against NQLD we are back on track to win the comp!
What a difference a week makes!

Reading an article this morning..

Broncos, storm, warriors, sharks all have an easier run home than ours based on a whole bunch of stats from NRL.com

As long as we win 1/2 from warriors/roosters then 3/4 in our final games I believe we go top 4. Beating the knights in the final round is key as it will build momentum.
