Rule brothers have handed over the keys this morning apparently to the bank. Best pub venue in Sydney, and on the back of the Sando and, not that long ago, Hopetoun closing its doors a disaster for Sydney music scene.

Sydney as in the cbd is making a bit of a recovery as far as live music goes. Its a shame that these old pubs are dying. Although the mayor of leichardt is trying to save it and rejuvenate the area a bit. There are still a few good places in the inner west for live music. Heck even the petersham bowling club has some fun shows at times.

So while the sando will be reborn as the Newtown social club and the Annandale struggles things are on the improve in Sydney. As much as she is hated outside of the cbd Moore is pushing hard to improve the live music scene and I trust her to deliver considering what she did for the small bar scene which has become easily better than Melbourne.
