I have an annoying bug or virus that's seeking to make a program library injection (some sort of dll action ?)
It's not picked up by Trend Micro (on system and not really concerned about system protection product advice please).
Micro is actually blocking it ATM, to the tune of 200,000 per couple of days - in other words it is consistently trying and being refused (seeks such a waste to me).
What's really puzzling me is that despite hidden files being shown, I can't find the path identified for the location:
C:\program files\micfan\fants.exe
Web search provides limited info - couple of 'buy this and we'll clear it' product sites, and a heap of chinese sites that when translated just say what the aforementioned sites say anyway (they don't have much choice there .. but maybe we don't either).
Any ideas ?
