Well this thread is certainly a collaboration of f**kwits in extremis.
From the OP, who decided to drink the bong water before chugging on some magic mushroom juice before basically coming out and accusing Saints of rorting the cap.

To The Baron who decided to be controversial, because no one else really gives a sh*t about anything else he says these days, and basically said Saints should have had to beat "the best" team in the comp to win the title - a pretty tall order considering they led the comp pretty much from start to finish and for some reason the baron still considers the cheating cuties from melbourne "the best" team.

Newsflash c**k brain, they took it all away from them.
The minor premierships, the titles, the WCC, the prizemoney - IT IS ALL f**kING GONE!
It went along with the credibility and the trust.
It went with the reputations of several players and a few corporate administrators.
Check a recent records page or similar, they ran a line through everything they won in their "cheats" period.
Come and next year and play with an under the cap team and win the comp, then they can call themselves the best team.

It's pretty different. Dragons actually won the Grand Final.

Manly and Parra did not and can never prove that they would have if Melbourne weren't competing those years.

Manly and Parra didn't beat the best legal teams in losing the 2007 & 2009 grand finals. The Dragons did beat the best legal teams in winning the 2010 grand final. That is the difference.

It was never offered to them.
And again, they weren't "the best", they were f**king cheats.
Get a grip.
And the last time I checked, melbourne were not even there on NRL GF day 2010, they were (justifiably) excluded from even being able to get anywhere near it a few months prior.
So to say they would have won it is a fairly big f**king call.

St George Illawarra beat the Sydney Roosters 32 to 8 in the GF.
Exactly how they are meant to beat some illegally assembled side who were not even in the running I am not sure.
If people like you, or the storm players themselves, want to sit back and talk sh*t about how they "would have won it if they were allowed to get there" then go for your life.
The event has been run and won.
While you hypothesise that, think about what the storm would have won if they'd had stayed under the cap juxtaposed to what they have left now..............

Crime rarely pays..........

True, although I think they have at least some entitlement to GF rings................... more so so than many of the storm players.

Props to Manly though, it was an awesome effort to not only beat a bunch of cheats, but to flog the f**k out of them on such a grand scale.

Apparently they should have to play them in a GF to legitimize the title :crazy:
Exactly why we would need to legitimize a title won in fair and just circumstances against a bunch a cuties who rorted the cap for half a decade - AND HAD INTENTIONS TO KEEP ON f**kING DOING IT HAD THEY NOT BEEN FOUND OUT - is beyond me.

OH MY GOD. Some of these posts made laugh so hard I literally fell out of my chair, was on my hands and knees in tears.
