The Dragons Forum 7's team has finally died a slow and tragic death.

Sorry to bail out at this late stage but following the, erm, 'interesting leadership style' of Dragon Fanatic and his subsequent departure, I have been left with only two committed posters (and I am one of them!). Recruitment efforts have been fruitless and the will to fight has finally been beaten out of me.

I could be completely wrong here ... but didn't Buzz Boy used to run a Dragons team at some stage?? If that is the case Buzz, I can guarantee you will have no competition to the Dragons name if you are planning a comeback next year - well not from me anyway.

As for me, I will wander off into the sunset as a first-year rookie with fond memories of an interesting competition that definetly will get stronger ... and hope to be picked up by another team if/when I return.

Hey LN, last round us Parra-Dogs only managed to get 2 posters v The Roosters, yet we still got a MOTM performance and a Parra-Dog article on the front page of LU.

This round we have a full roster and we have the premiership heavy-weights looking over their shoulders and quaking in their boots.

Keep going - aim for the front page of LU and you'll never know what may happen. NEVER SURRENDER - REMEMBER THE ANZACS!

Besides which, it's still only a game - you and/or a team-mate still got something to write, there's still people ready to read it.

Yeah, but at the end of the day I don't think any team likes to put forward four or five quality posts and then see the opposition scrape up one or two against them. I do enjoy writing the articles though, and as long as no-one minds I will look to join another team for the remainder of the season - the Sharks have put in an offer that my lawyers are checking out as we speak.

If no-one has any objections, I think I might like another go at having the Red V's up and running for the next season of Forum Sevens.

I don't want to be accused of poaching (which any of you will know I'm totally against), so if anyone is interested in playing for the Red V's next season place your name below... and if we get enough interest we'll be seeing a SUCCESSFUL team wearing the Red V next season.

Cheers.

Buzz. :D

Good stuff Buzz Boy. It's been a difficult season trying to keep the competition alive. Given the circumstances, it should have died. But the F7s has survived and that means it'll be bigger and better next year...

...plus we MUST have a Dragons team, if only to give the Bluebags something to defend... the Chook Raper Cup has to keep going :D
