Another PNG Team for QLD in 2014

And the rest. Funny though how Brough and others aren't mentioned by poms. Yet Uate is brought up every five minutes. Why is that? And on top of that there's this ridiculous paranoia that the ARL has goen out of its way to dangle cash in front of a player as if this is fact. All the ARL did was ALLOW an individual who has every right to represent Australia the opportunity to do so if he wishes. To not do so is discrimination. Yet poms don't seem to realise that the players they ring-in from overseas are actually PAID to do so. There exists no other reason for them to even live in England. Their services are bought, paid for, like mercenaries. No player has ever been signed to play in Australia as a professional and then played for Australia as a result. NOT ONE. But that's what England does. And on top of that they also poach players who have already represented other countries. So for any pom to ever question what Australia does is not only blatant hypocracy, but they are even worse for their use of money to produce players.

Wouldn't it be better to see how 1 team goes before going for 2?

I thought so too. But the 2 teams have no connections to each other.
They are being driven by 2 totaly different groups. They could even be in direct opposition to each other if there is only 1 place available in the QLD Cup.

Just hope they don't jeorpardise each others chances.

A true Papua new Guinean wouldn't do that and besides, that sort of thing hasnt happened before! There are plenty of kiwis brought over from NZ by Nrl clubs and none have played for aus!

Errr ... what about Thorn and Tonie Caroll? New Zealanders who turned their back on NZ and played for Australia.

Oh, I think if the right incentives were there, i.e. SoO and a Kangaroos Jersey, they'll jump. If Uate Jumped then they would also jump.

You mean Thorn and Carroll who lived in Australia virtually all their lives. They weren't brought over by an NRL club. For someone who tries hard to be an RL journalist you don't know much. Trying to get a job at the Telecrap?

Funny how a thread about a possible 2nd PNG team in the QLD Cup has now turned into an Aust vs GB vs NZ thread.
