Man U fans are merkins anyway.
President Lee said:I can vouch from first hand experience that the security at Stadio Olimpico is a joke, but that said, People have to realise that it is not Manchester and English fans that turn up singing their smart ar5e songs and looking for trouble are going to get it. I would not walk down the road in Manchester singing about Alex Fergusson blowing goats without expecting there to be a risk to my health and safety involved.
ParraDude_Jay said:Oh so it's justified then? It's OK to knife rival fans if they are singing songs about your sports team?
Edit: And get over yourself with calling people racist, P.C. arsehole.

President Lee said:No it is not ok to knife people, but if you stick your head in a crocodile's mouth and it bites it off, then it is more your fault than the crocodile's.
You get over yourself you bigoted merkin - all australians are whining pillocks!
Did I say anything wrong?
fish eel said:Dude, didnt they get knifed on the bridge they were told to stay away from?
The same bridge that they left a police escort to cross knowing the roma ultra's were going t be there?
Sure.....they were just signing songs.....:sarcasm:
ParraDude_Jay said:You don't like Aussies? Well you know where the door is. I also find it ironic you'd call someone racist and then one post later make a slur against Australians, on an Australian forum no less.
ParraDude_Jay said:So you don't see what's wrong with living in this country and not tolerating Australians? I don't think it was a particularly racist comment, you're just being over sensitive. Hell when the people he's calling arseholes are sticking knives into foreigners for supporting the opposition I think it's at least a little bit warranted, fair?
And for the record I don't have any problem with Italians myself, I'm actually going to learn the language this year with a view to spending a year over there down the track.
President Lee said:4. I hope you get over to Italy. You will love it. Make sure you get to a big Serie A or Champions League game while you are there. It is the thrill of a lifetime. At least it was for me. You won't see any trouble if you heed warnings and don't go looking for it. Get to the games nice and early. Don't wear team colors until you get inside the stadium. Make sure you get seats in the areas occupied with the fans of the team you plan to cheer for. Even better, sit with the Ultras of a big team like Roma. The singing rings in your ears for days afterwards. I also reccommend getting along to a lower league game - Serie C2 or lower. The atmosphere is different but jst as exciting as Serie A and it is a real insight into Italian football culture.
President Lee said:1. I don't live in Australia.
President Lee said:3. "Italians are arseholes" is a rascist statement. If you don't believe me, look up the word 'rascist' in the dictionary. "All Italians should be gassed in concentration camps" (as said by dragonsforthewin in this thread a couple of pages ago) is rascist, sure. But it is beyond rascist. So far beyond it is indefensible. So indefensible that I can't believe you are defending it.
ParraDude_Jay said:Actually I was thinking maybe you didn't, fair enough then I shouldn't have assumed.
I haven't defended anyone calling for Italians to be gassed as far as I know. I just don't think calling Italians arseholes is racist. My real problem is how defensive people are over non-English speaking cultures being insulted. I could say "Americans/Pommies are arseholes" and nobody would care or call me racist, but as soon as you drag a race of people into it that don't speak the same language as you or have a different skin colour, they want you in jail. That's my problem with the P.C. nonsense in general, but I apologise for taking a shot at you over it.
And getting to a few football matches is definitely on the agenda for Italy, a few people now have told me the lower league atmospheres are some of the best to be had so I'm really looking foward to it.
