I was discussing with Macca the possibility of coming to our 1st home game this year. Maybe we should start start organising some tribute for that game from the forum members?

Even as a Roosters fan, i'd love to buy one. You see, us older Roosters remember the times when we were rubbish, and we looked to other clubs for inspiration and hope that a good player would eventually join us.

My most distinct memory as a young kid was watching Steve Rogers play against us. He MASSACRED us on so many damned occasions i hated the guy, but in the end you can do nothing but admire the guy and WANT someone like that at your club.

Even as young as 10, i WANTED someone like Steve Rogers at MY club. Well it took a long time but we finally got Brad Fittler. Still, Steve ALWAYS sticks in my mind as the best centre ive seen. A genius. Totally unforgettable.

You are doing a great job keeping The Great One's memory alive Frenzy... he shall never be forgotten, especially amongst us older fans. RIP Steve.

What I would give to be back in Aus, standing there with that band on first home match!!!!!

Might be a few blokes with the bladder a bit close to the eye when the sharks run out.
