Yep. This is all over the news like the coronavirus is.

seems like a great idea to grab a CEO from a club that has been run as well as the tigers have been.

    Cheers, DS.

    Can he speak?
    Can he think?
    Can he act on it?
Will he go into bat for us with the NRL?

If we can achieve only one of these initiatives, its better than where we are at present.

Brian Johnston has been the very worst CEO the club has ever had.
When you combine that with the completely useless attempt at coaching by a novice named, McGregor.
Throw in Craig Young, who couldn't organise a naughty in a brothel, even if he owned it; is it any wonder the club is in disarray.

Personally I would a totally independent person may be from our even a totally different industry as our CEO successful businessman would be a great thing. But if this guy does get the job sure he's got to be better than what we've got at the moment . I think BJ has just given up.

No I'm retired now. I preside over a local charity and that keeps me busy enough these days.

I see more of that honorable gentleman now that he has retired from the political scene , than when he and his cronies were attempting to run the country .

How quickly people have forgotten Peter Doust and the damage he initiated on a once great club.

Ladies and gentlemen, here is , unquestionably, the worst SGI CEO the club has ever had.

Doust at least got Benji to us.
Johnston allowed the club to be screwed by not including KPI's into McGregors' contract,
That's cost us several million, not forgetting the sponsorship dollars.

    Consider this.

McGregor, no idea of coaching but turns up each week to achieve squat.
Johnston, stays on his farm, say and does absolutely nothing, no where to be seen.
    Which one is the worse?
Doust at least talked it up and did .......... something.

The only Saving Grace for Doust that he got Bennett here and we won that 2010 premiership. Otherwise he ran the club into the ground

Doust was the one who presented Dragons’ fans with McGregor.

    Unforgivable.

I’m unsure how an Marshall could be seen as a boon? Plenty of observers believe he should have retired at the end of 2016.

Stories abound Bennett wanted a five year contract, Doust offered only three.

    Incompetence.

I heard Doust wanted Brown when Mary was first appointed but was outvoted by the Illawarra side of the JV

Since the split of the JV would have given Doust the deciding vote that sounds like bollocks.
