Welcome Richard. He'll be handy to have around. I don't expect an "earth-shattering" season from Ian Hindy (its been a few years since 2001), and Fa'aoso might be able to help manage that load in the 17 from time to time.

I thought we were one forward short in depth, and this fills a missing piece. :D

A good signing, who i believe will compliment our forwards well.

I think we now have a well balanced forward back, better then in most years, the workaholics eg Robinson, Ian, Wagon, Hindy, Cordoba go forward blokes eg Cayless, Cannings, Tsolous, Moi Moi, Faa'osso, Skill blokes like mateo and also Cannings, Lowrie and Weller.

I'm actually more excited about 2 blokes you haven't mentioned..Zeb Taia and Junior Paolo. both played like genuine first graders about the last 6 weeks of the comp.

Apparently Bradford are still waiting for Solomona to put pen to paper. Can't find any evidence that he has signed. :-k

Solomona was officially announced today... http://www.bradfordbulls.co.uk/bb_news_full.asp?newsid=2703

BULLS SEAL SOLOMONA TRANSFER

25th November 2006

Bradford Bulls have today announced they have completed the deal that will see the New Zealand David Solomona become a Bulls player for the next three years.

Solomona was previously with Wakefield Trinity Wildcats for whom he made 79 appearances, scoring 26 tries, having joined them from Parramatta Eels at the start of the 2004 Super League season. Solomona played in the Gillette Tri Nations last year, being in the New Zealand side that won the Tournament but had to pull out of this year’s series because of injury.

Steve McNamara is delighted the transfer has finally been completed:

"I'm absolutely over the moon to be able to get him on board. It's been a fairly tough and long process to go through but David's abilities are unquestioned. His attacking qualities are unbelievable and there are probably only a handful of players in the competition who can give the X factor that he does. He has the ability to create something out of nothing, give us that something different and he has that ability to break sides down in the really close games. David has a burning ambition to win a Premiership and he is a fantastic signing for Bradford Bulls."
