Anyone incounted this problem

Has anyone had this problem before:
At the very start when the game is loading and then it loads the memory. Well it loads my memory card for like 5 seconds and then says Failed to Load.I also tryed to load my saved games by going to start new compition and then going to load compition. It reads my memory card for like 5 seconds and then it stops ans says unable to load saved games,saved games on the memory card are damaged u are not able to load your saved games. I was just woundring if anyone else has had these problems so i could chat to them about it.

But it works with other games.Also how can i fix it if it is corrupted?.

Does anyone no how to fix a corrupt memory card or no's how to reformat a memory card. Mario do u no?. Also people who have had this problem could u please say so.
