I have to admit that i've lost track of things a bit since setanta seemingly went down the gurgler

I'm going to be there this weekend and in particular would love to watch the dragons and tigers game. any thoughts?

Cheers,

There's a small chance that Hogan's Bar on La Rambla would play the game. Otherwise, check out the numerous Irish & English dives around town.

Your other option is over the net. Omnisport.tv (NRL's official internet provider to international viewers) charges US$5.99 a game to watch.

Everyone look at moi, I'm in Barcelona! What a twat

Finding information on where games are screened in foreign cities is quite difficult, especially when they speak another language. Perhaps you should look in the mirror when you call someone a twat. I know from my own international travels, getting your weekly NRL fix can prove to be quite the challenge.

Lost the f*cking plot more like it.

An Aussie site would surely be the best place to find out about telly in a Spanish pubs ffs!

Try Barcelona Leagues Club especially the El Wally bar. Failing that, Harrington Hotel have a big screen and decent Crowdy Bay king prawns on the cheap, but you'd have to come back to Australia for that. Better still, stay over there you dumb knob.

There's an Aussie bar down at the marina. Probably your best bet.

Give it a go, remember seeing a game in there last year....

Otherwise most Irish bars should be receiving Premier Sports which covers the NRL in the UK due to its large Gaelic content.

Next question, I'll be in Munich this from this Friday, any tips on games there?

If anyone is in Prague, I can highly recommend FatBoys bar... the publican is a HUGE rabbitohs fan. Got some games via omnisport on there big screens for us last year and chucked all the fumbleball fans into a small room with a smaller screen to watch there junk. Loves to talk footy and was that into the games that he was letting the NRL fans pour their own beers!

Hindy theres a place called Brogans in the city, I watched League there, problem is it will be full of AFL Bogans this Saturday from about 4am or so.

If your planning on hitting Oktoberfest afterwards though forget it, if you dont queue up on the first day, youve got no chance of getting into the halls, even though they dont open til 12 noon!

Just enjoy yourself and get wasted over there!

Check the scores on the internet the next day.

That sounds like a terrible idea. When I was living overseas I'd be up at 3:30am to watch the game till 5:30am on a thursday for friday night football. I'd do it religiously as well.

I guess watching the game just holds more value to others

yeh we went on saturday, got there at about 8am for the spartenhaus and was still behind a couple of hundred people! sunday was better though, easy to walk in and out of the tents

there is an australian pub called ned kellys....around the back of marienplatz. might be one of your better chances in munchen
