Anyone know what happened to Witt?

I think it was Parraren who mentioned last week that a good half is always going forward, keeping the opposition in two minds as to whether they will run or pass. I think Thorman did that last night and his game was infinitely better for it.

He is sometimes selfish kicking for himself 40m out from his own line. He needs to develop his kicking game 100%. His kicks are usually caught on the full and we suffered in field positioon where we found ourselves defending our own half quite a lot.

No way is Thorman better then Witt. Because Thorman has one good game we state he is a better player then witt, Get stuffed. Witt had a good game against roosters, Can I now say that Witt is better then Thorman, And don't say "well thorman didn't play against roosters" because Witt didn't play against melbourne. Witt is a step above Thorman. Thorman does alot of silly shit.

So does Witt mate. Cant you see Witt is young his got a lto to think about if he is anywhere near to cutting it close to leading up to the finals next year. I think thorman is an average player but he created a lot but also caused us to be on the backfoot. If dykes comes back the whole team will be reshuffled.

IMO they both need a lot of work, especially when kicking to put pressure on - however the longer term option seems to be Witt. Given that Saturday is the final day that Parramatta can take up Thorman's option than he had to be given a go. Would have preferred to see both and still think Witt has more options. Thorman played well on the back of some good go-forward similar to that which Witt was given against the Roosters. When he doesn't get the go-forward - ie last week he will struggle.

I think we need both Witt & Thorman next year. If they are both battling for the number 7 it will bring the best out of each of them I think. Also, if Morris is injured we will need a back-up 5/8 and either Thorman or Witt could fill this role if need be.

Depth is very important as we all know given the amount of injuries we've had over the past 2 years.
