I have been to a few pub crawls with chatters from a sports bar and I remember the first time I turned up, we all arranged to wear sports caps.

So I turned up, not knowing anyone, and wandered over to a guy and a girl wearing sports caps and introduced myself - and of course.....

....they had no idea who I was, they were tourists just having a beer. After that I headed straight to the bar to get a beer. Turned out everyone else was running late, and I was the first one there. But it was the beginning of many great pub crawls with my fellow chatters.

Not sure if you are allowed to wear caps in the club though...

Now is that really what you are going to wear? I'll be there at 6 o'clock. When you say the pokie bar, you mean the one in with the pokies or the in the big new bar?

Tell you what, there is an area right near the TAB where they have a few tables you can stand up at. All the regulars drink there. It might be easier to meet there. Barry Pierce and Steve Rogers are always there.

I think I might bring my old man down for a drink too, he reads this forum alot, he'll probably get a kick outta it.

Wouldn't mind - but it's a bit out of the way. Parra are playing OK so I will wait a few more weeks before drowning my sorrows
