Anyone want to play survivor

I was over on RLFANS in the HullKR forum dissing Clint Newton and talking up Con Mika and Shannon McDonnell, and they were talking about a way to pass the off season.

I sold them on a game of survivor.

I think a dozen or so of us could take those guys.

Anyone interested?

(moderators, RLFANS is an associated site - no conflict)

It's been a few years since we've played it here...you might want to fill some of the newer members on how it works

They are making up their own rules at present, but it's basically performing a task during the week, and people getting 'voted off the island' based on the task.

I've told them that cheating and underhanded tactics are the norm, and they are going with that.

So far they seem to be talking about two teams, and whichever team loses the weekly task votes out a member.

I might sign up... I'm up to over 4000 points. Does that make me an expert on League now? Should I sign up for a coaching position at the knights?

I don't mind joining. It's easy right? I'll probably get kicked off first week anyways lol!

this sounds somewhat relevant to my interests. what sort of tasks? real life tasks (bollocks to that) or internet tasks?

I don't know what tasks the poms have in mind, but we played games like peguin toss, putt putt golf and tetris, and we wrote little poems i think - stuff like that.

Looking at the thread, I think they have 7 of them signed up after one evening, so i think they might get somewhere between 10 and 15 people.

I think it would be good if we matched their numbers and do it as an 'us v them' team thing.

I've suggested that.
