Timmah,

I have sat everywhere at ANZ, from the expensive seats to the cheapie ones, and none of them have given me a good view. You are just too far away from the action, wherever you sit.

Maybe I've just been spoilt by watching the majority of my footy at the SFS, which is a true league ground.

NC, I sit in those tunnel-based seats, generally the most expensive, and the view is easily as good, if not better than the SFS. That's my point.

Deflecting what? You're gloating here about a victory elsewhere... why should I dignify you with a rabid reply?

You're not FCing at all, you're just being a pain in the ass. And it shows. I might leave you to your own devices now, you've derailed enough threads for one day and hopefully my lack of involvement solves your problem.

I only harass you when you're being a dickhead. I'll stop harassing you when you stop being a dickhead.

thats a good point. if soccer gets popular, we will get better stadiums cause soccer stadiums are similar to league ones. kind of like what happened in melbourne with the victory getting popular so now they get a new stadium.
league can live with soccer if we just have to rely on rugby dying a slow death

yep, i expect townsville and newcastle to get upgraded grounds because of a 2nd tenant in soccer.

a team in the gong and campbelltown as well would do the same.

i think we wont get a new stadium in sydney for 20 - 30 years so we might as well accept homebush.

i like it when there are 30,000 + in it.

at origin with 70,000 in there the atmosphere is electric.

Then obviously your eye sight is far better than mine, even with my contact lenses.:)

I find all the seating at ANZ too far back from the action.

But each to their own. So long as you enjoy your gameday experience, that's all that matters.

Can I ask though NC, have you actually sat next to the tunnel before? I fail to see a single thing wrong with those seats...

No, I've sat directly opposite the tunnel on the other side of the ground, but not on the tunnel side.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are'nt the seats near the tunnel reserved for season ticket holders for the "home" sides for NRL games at least?

ive also sat most spots at ANZ.

I think the best spost is maybe in a corner on about 20 metres, where i was for ANZAC day, a bit back, could actually see the whole ground
behind the goalposts is attrocious, too far back and its attrocious. ive also sat on about 30 metres 5 rows back and it wasnt great, just too far back.

The best seats ive sat in at a footy ground are probable on about halfway on the opposite side to the tunnel at the SFS, right near the back. Awesome spot to see everything and top atmosphere up there, altho pretty much everywhere is decent viewing at the SFS.
