ANZAC Test match

Just a question,

with the anzac test match when is it and do the players that play in it are they out of the game on that week, or do they back up if they want to?

Is that the weekend we play the bulldogs or the weekend after, someone told me something and they confused the heck out of me.

If I remember correctly they cannot play the week before but they can play after.

I'm 99% sure you can't play the weekend before.

You couldn't for the last few years.


THAT means that we play the Doggies without their forward pack!
Or at least, without Willie Mason and Sonny Bill

I'm HOPING that O'Meley and Ryan get picked (for whatever reason...)

We'll certainly lose Hindy, and almost certainly Cayless. Beyond that we should be right to go --> and I'd rather have Moi Moi than Hinchey!

All players can play this weekend(Which is the weekedn before the test)

Team picked on sunday. Those selected train during the week and play the test next Friday night. Then all players are available again to play the following 3 days for their respective clubs.

Meaning some players may play up to 3 games in 7 days

MEDIA ALERT



The Australian Test squad will be announced following the Wests Tigers v Sharks post-match press conference at Campbelltown Stadium this Sunday 15th April, 2007.



The squad will then immediately depart for Brisbane. Any players selected from the Canberra Raiders or Sydney Roosters will join the squad on Tuesday due to their Monday Night Football clash.



The New Zealand team and captain for the April 20 Bundaberg Test is scheduled to be announced on Tuesday 17th April at 12.30pm AEST

You see the thing is that I'm geniused and I thought that the Anzac test was on Anzac day...

AT LEAST we'll play them with some tired forwards then...

I'm tipping that if Cayless and Tahu are picked for the test, they won't backup!
