i think you're right there, but CIS will be unbackable ... too short i reckon. Even if it wins, you dont get much anyway. I'll pick another race :)

i think they'll put over $2 up. purely because of the quality of the race

although it will depend on acceptances

I cant go away from my favourite horse Shania Dane, hopefully the horse will turn the table on Courts in Session after a narrow defeat. Gets up to a more suitable distance and will be fiter from the run first up. Very hard to beat

if anything, moffo, CIS was suspect 1st up

i have absolutely no problems with him 2nd up, nor over 1400m

i'm waiting for the acceptances this morning to try and see what will fill the placings

les, I'm tipping Eremien to win a big one this prep. I haven't done the form as yet for this. He did make some ground 1st up over 1200m and I am looking for 1600-2000 to have a go at.

See what my form says fir this when I look at it though

Going with Ikes Dream. Have been a fan of hers, she trialled well and Beadman rides from the 1 draw. Courts in Session hard to beat as is Shania Dane. Like Eremein, but not a fan of Purton... Happy to wait till his next start over 1600m... Primus will also be in it. Appears he'll go well at WFA.

CIS beat some absolute class last time first up. Please don't copy me with my Ikes Dream tip!

yeah but moffo, CIS has won 3 from 4 2nd up from a spell. only "failure" was 0.4L to Sir Dex in spring last year. and he didn't race again after that race

his record first-up previous to last start was 4 starts 0 wins 2 placings. that tells me that he's enjoyed his long break and matured into an even better horse. and at $3.25 could find a fair bit of my money on him
