In relation to Coffs, the Dogs have fined players, but it has still left the whole game under a cloud. No one knows who has been fined for what. The lack of transparency is bad for the game and the fog has to be lifted.

I wasn't really arguing against him... in fact Ibeme agreed with me in the end I think. I am not on a Bulldogs vendenta. I am against a lack of commitment to the interests of rugby league. This is the issue, the Bulldogs management has not acted in the interests of the rugby league, but in the interests of individual players. Well I'm sorry but the clubs and the NRL can't be left in this position in the future. It has to stop. And the Dogs management should have said, this secrecy is not in the interests of the club, nor the league, the bad apples have to be thrown out.

Yeah but Greeneyed would prefer they ignore that advice and then get sued. I'm sure the members will be happy for the club to pay a 7 figure+ settlement because they ignored legal advice. :roll:
