Are more of our players carrying injuries?

Im wondering whether a few more of the squad are carrying injuries but due to the already high number of players already out injured and lack of replacements are continuing playing.

Roberts keeps going down, Maumolo is playing like he is tender and cant move quickly, Laurie is nothing like his former self before breaking his leg.

Unfortunately these are all backs where WT are already spread thin with Talau and Kepoa out for the season or best part of it, similarly Blore and Ute in the forwards. I really dont see Doueihi able to be on the field much before last quarter of the season. Brooks is mentally shot.

This season started with WT behind the 8 ball with season ending injuries to key players, and its gone to disastrous stages now with little to no depth to cover the sheer number of players down and out. Having said that, its no excuse for the inability to do the league basics right when on the field.

You could be right. Alternatively we have a lot of shit players.
Agreed Tiger, I just don't see our injuries as any excuse at all. I see very little difference between our first choice players and our second choice. Does anyone seriously think it is a loss when Tamou is out? Or Talau, or James Roberts for example.

We just replace one bog average player with another bog average player. No big deal.

I concur we have a lot of less than stellar players but there seems ot be something else going on.
Before the game I saw an interview with Ofahengaue. He said all the right things (gentleman that he is) but I had no sense that he had any confidence in what he was saying. I thought he even looked depressed as he walked away. As much as the players are saying the right things I just don't believe they genuinely have confidence in Madge or each other.

Confidence is always going to be hard to come by when your club is the whipping boy of the media, running stone motherless last with no wins on the horizon. Add to that a bunch of players out injured and some not even trying anymore. The worst part about it is the Dogs and Dragons will get their shiut together before we play them.
