Are the Knights getting a new Stadium or not?

From what I hear from some here, they WANT an upgrade at Marathon which means they havnt got one yet.

Yet I read in Big League and see adds on FOX that you need to be quick to get the new membership so you can get a seat in the 'new stadium'.


So is Marathon Stadium getting a new stand or what? Whats happening?

Work has started on building the Eastern side stands with the nsw governments 22 million dollars and also spending money on renovations on the western stand and corprate facilitys. Behind the goalposts will stay as grassed hills at this stage until they can convince John Howard to pay for the other half of the 22 million they need to finish the whole thing.

yeh I mean the Federal GOvernment only just announced a measly $7 Billion surplus

how about $23 million going to build the stadium rather than put back into millionaires via tax cuts who dont give a stuff about Rugby league
