The other thread suggests we were never in a position to be "done"

The aim is to make the 8. We should scrape in.

Many people said the Panthers would struggle when they came up against the top teams. And so it was against the Sharks.

The side has issues, no risk about that, and its pretty safe to say we're probably not winning the comp this year. However, having lost to the Sharks for the second time, the plan now is to defeat the Dogs for the second time. Then everything will be hunky dory.

Just don't ask me how we're going to do it.

They will do it with ease at this rate. The Bulldogs are a laughing stock.

They'll make the 8. Probably 6-8th. Can't see them doing anything against someone decent. All the lower 8 team candidates like the storm, warriors, Broncos, tigers, eels, cowboys etc have actually beaten top teams and a bigger chance of doing some damage.

Will make the 8, won't trouble Storm, Roosters, Dragons, Sea Eagles and co when the whips begin to crack.

I see what you did there! Slipping the Dragons in as if they aren't clearly better than those other plodding teams.

I think the Panthers might be the only team able to stop the Red V.

Panthers V Dragons GF. Lock it in Eddie.

I voted potato because I have never had the opportunity before.

As for Penrith I don't know about being entirely done but the engine is starting to sputter a bit.

All I want the derps to do is to make the 8 so I can at least feel semi special having my team in the 8 for a change. Then get some better forwards. It's a joke that the go forward and the energy of it is so dependent on a winger (Mansour).

I thought Mansour mostly ran sideways.
