Are there enough Lebanese in the NRL to ensure Lebanon's place in the 2017 World Cup?

I can only name three Lebanese-Australian players, each of whom is top notch:

Robbie Farah (Wests Tigers)

Tim Mannah (Parramatta Eels)

Josh Mansour (Penrith Panthers).

There needs to be a quality full back, a quality half back/five eighth, and another couple of quality forwards to enable the rest of the team, many drawn from the Lebanese domestic competition, to come through the qualifying rounds in 2016.

Just because you cannot recall players at the top of your head does not mean they exist. Reece & Travis Robinson are both Lebanese, and are of a reasonable first-grade standard. 5 strong first graders in their starting 13 is good for Lebanon.

There'd have to be a few floating around in inferior competitions like the NSW Cup and English Super League.

My honest reply to this thread would result in permanent expulsion from LU.

Are you for real, Albert Rosenfeld? The threads you start are utter shit!

Those 3 alone should ensure they beat England.

Michael Lichaa too. Portugal is horribly underrepresented with only Srama though

Daniel Abou-Sleiman - Wests Tigers NSW Cup
Jason Wehbe - ex Parramatta NYC currently in Japan RU
Ahmad Ellaz - Wentworthville True Blue Chemical Shield
Elias Sukkar - Wentworthville NSW Cup
Liam Ayoub - Panthers NSW Cup

pretty sure there are a few others around but they are strong enough to compete with the World Cup nations.

add to the list Mitchell Moses from Wests Tigers. Lebanon are supposed to be playing in the MEA Cup later this year against South Africa and the UAE.

You're forgetting one of the best wingers in the world at the moment... Josh Mansour. Also Michael Lichaa. I think you can count Tim Mannah out though unless he doesn't play Origin or some sort of rep footy between now and then.

Also Robbie Farah is another you can count out as he will more than likely play Origin next year (3 year rule).

Yeah like I said mate, I only did NSWRL based competitions. All NRL players had already been mentioned

We should be changing eligibility rules so that if rep players for Australia, England or New Zealand want to play for another country, it should be allowed to help provide a stronger world game.

Also, BF, when did that 3 year rule come into effect surrounding Origin? I ask because Anthony Minichiello played Origin in 2011 and played for Italy in 2013
