It was a reasonably low-key welcome home for the Storm, with around 50 fans greeting them at Melbourne Airport.

the NRL should relocate the Storm to Central QLD
NRL only focus on QLD & NSW, ACT forget the rest never gonna make it.

it wasnt a public holiday in nsw today either but just watch the news tonight and check out the crowd for the eels street parade there were THOUSANDS thereHad a friend go to the see them yesterday - said that there were about 150 at the ground later - although the media counted it as being "in the hundreds". (It wasnt a public holiday in Vic, so, that counts for a few not being there - probably another 50-100)
At the risk of upsetting people. There are a lot of sour grapes in this thread.

They had a function at a football ground to go to. Why would they great them at the airport? The function at the ground was very well turned out. They also has a pretty large function the night before at Acer Arena for their fans, again, well attended. I suppose it pales against the 100k that turned out to greet newcastle in 2001, would that have made you feel better?
