Are you a fan of the game or the club/culture?

Vote.

Sorry, was going to add a poll but bailed and the thread was published anyway.

Questions that might help.

(1) Do you only watch club games?
(2) Do you watch both club and neutral games with a preference for club games?
(3) Do you consider all games neutral and watch pretty much anything that is on?

Probably 75-25 in favour of Souths. Ask me again in a years time it may even be 90-10 in favour of Souths.

It used to be about 50-50 and I would watch every game on TV. Now it doesn't bother me if I don't see any games as long as I see Souths play.

The sport of rugby league always comes first for me, as much as I love the tigers.

Pretty much this. But Souths games will always overtake every other game for me.

Always watch the souths game. As for other games I watch any "blockbuster" games.
Always watch state of origin but Test football does not interest me whatsoever.

Always watch Souths play.

I like to watch other games though on Friday and Saturday nights.

Listen on radio sometimes to Monday Night Football.

The Sunday delayed Ch 9 telecast I didn't really care about but now it's live next year so I'll definitely watch regardless of who's playing.

If Manly are playing and getting all the calls as usual I have to turn the TV off.

Can't stand looking at Toovey either.

Club. Only the club.

Don't mind a good origin game but I wouldn't care if we'd seen the last of it.

I stumbled across this years GF on FOX last night....sat back and watched most of it.

Its good to be able to watch a game stress free occasionally not featuring my team...nice change from the hell that is being a WT fan

Ahh the irony of this from a souths fan. Clearly you haven't watched the last 3 years in which the Nrl wanted your scum team to win the comp, finally seeing their wishes come true this year

Club, I still watch a lot of other games becuase I will always favour watching sport over not watching sport, but more and more I find myself watching other sports

Same. Pure coincidence that both our teams are shit....

There's not many televised sports I don't like. I just see NRL as something to distract me during the NFL season.

It's becoming more & more apparent that NFL is the far superior game. Challenges you mentally, rather than a base game like RL which is all brawn, no brains.

I love footy. I love the game, but outside watching my club play, the NRL is very low on my RL priorities. I find myself looking forward to watching a game at the end of the week with a few beers, but then I'm bored by about 20 mins in and I'm scrolling on my smart phone. When my club plays I'm into it, but the repetitiveness of NRL footy and the constant talking down of the game by ch9 shits me. The refs are gonna make mistakes Gus! I also love the small town nature of the game, hills at suburban stadiums, small suburbs being represented by clubs etc and as the NRL gets progressively more professional Im losing interest.

I love nothing more than going to my local club, where I am involved, and watching A grade with a beer and a sausage sanga. That's the heart of the game for me. I also enjoy the international game, then origin and probably then the NRL last.
