Well I already had a handbags at dawn thing with Bazal over this exact question. I wouldn't have thought he was the type but being repeatedly overlooked can get to anyone. And being in bad form can put you on the defensive as well. I think Noise put forward a more likely explanation in that he wasn't exactly sure of his role.

If he did tank it I would change my earlier view about him being the future of the club and shop him around now.

I don't think he's the future of the club anyway. Too marginal a player for that. But he could still have a future at the club. I wouldn't be writing someone off on one game, particularly given we're on the outside looking in.

Yeah I also got verbaled by Basil for suggesting same. In retrospect I cant see the Kid doing that. I recall Tepai playing through his shoulder problem 2 years ago. BA dosent appear to have too much sympathy for injurys. Maybe Bev felt pressure to return early. He did nothing in the match and now hes out for 2 more weeks so he must not be ready or like some others, simply cant play with injury.

Its a big accusation to make against a player but when it is made by people who don't usually make outrageous comments about players I take notice. Obviously Baz didn't see it that way....

French is definitely a shadow of the player he was and something is very wrong. Lets hope its just the injury and he can get back to what we know he is capable of.
